X-Ray Technician - Oak Lawn, IL

An opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in imaging, specifically X-ray technology, to play a vital role in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position requires a dedicated X-ray Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent)
• Active state licensure as required
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of X-ray procedures
• Solid understanding of radiologic safety procedures and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital imaging setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring images are accurate and of diagnostic quality
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while maintaining their comfort and safety
• Operate radiologic equipment and adhere to all safety policies to protect patients and staff
• Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed imaging records
• Communicate findings and concerns with medical staff promptly
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Support additional imaging needs as requested by the healthcare team
