Radiology Technologist - Olathe, Kansas

Bring your expertise in X-ray imaging to a dynamic healthcare setting on a 13-week assignment beginning June 1. This contract opportunity offers a blend of mid and occasional night shifts, perfect for someone seeking a varied and engaging schedule.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour mid shifts weekly (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
• Rotating on-call: one night per week (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM, Tuesday)
• Weekend rotation: every third weekend (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday) and every 6-7 weeks (Friday 10:30 PM – Monday 6:30 AM)

Qualifications:

• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Active Kansas state license for Radiologic Technology
• Proficient in diagnostic imaging, particularly X-ray procedures
• Solid understanding of radiologic safety and infection control
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray exams following physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately position patients and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Document and maintain imaging records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver optimal patient care
• Participate in rotating on-call and weekend assignments as required by the schedule
