X-Ray Technician in Olathe, KS

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a diagnostic imaging expert, working alongside a dedicated healthcare team for a 13-week assignment. This role centers on delivering high-quality X-ray imaging services, ensuring accurate results for patient care and diagnosis.

Schedule & Hours:

• 4x10 hour shifts, mid-shift (12:00pm - 10:30pm), 40 hours per week
• Rotating on-call schedule: 1 night per week (10:30pm - 6:30am, Tuesday)
• Weekend requirement: every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am - 6:30pm) and additional on-call every 6-7 weeks (Friday 10:30pm - Monday 6:30am)

What You’ll Need:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Kansas radiologic technologist license
• BLS certification
• Experience operating radiologic equipment and providing efficient, safe, and accurate imaging
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with safety standards, patient privacy, and infection control
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to comfort and support patients of varying backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality X-ray images for diagnostic evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient interactions and imaging results in the electronic health record
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, following all protocols and safety guidelines
• Respond promptly and efficiently to urgent and on-call situations
