Advance your career as a skilled X-ray Technologist, providing essential diagnostic imaging for patient care. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic imaging team for a 13-week engagement starting June 1. Your expertise will support high-quality patient diagnostics and workflow in a busy healthcare setting.
Schedule:
- 4 shifts of 10 hours each week, mid-shift: 12:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week
- Rotating on-call schedule: 1 night per week (Tuesday, 10:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.)
- Weekend requirement: every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.); additional on-call one weekend every 6–7 weeks (Friday 10:30 p.m. – Monday 6:30 a.m.)
Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Valid Kansas state radiologic technologist license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with X-ray imaging procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging studies as ordered by providers
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout imaging procedures
- Properly operate and maintain imaging equipment, following established protocols
- Accurately document studies and patient information in medical records
- Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
