Step into a dynamic imaging department and bring your expertise as an X-ray Technologist, supporting patient care for ambulatory interventional pain procedures. This contract opportunity runs for 13 weeks, offering the chance to work with a skilled multidisciplinary team and advanced diagnostic technology.
Schedule:
- Five 8-hour day shifts
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Valid ARRT(R) credential (Radiologic Technologist)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist license (pending applications will be considered)
- Recent experience supporting ambulatory interventional pain management
- Proficiency with a range of X-ray equipment, including both stationary and portable units from Philips, Carestream, and GE, as well as C-Arms
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray and C-Arm equipment to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures according to physician protocols
- Support interventional pain specialists with accurate imaging during ambulatory procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging, strictly following radiation safety guidelines
- Document imaging procedures accurately in patient records
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment
