X-Ray Technician - Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Take on an essential role as a skilled Imaging X-ray Technologist within a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is ideal for candidates who are passionate about patient care and experienced in advanced radiologic practices.

Schedule

• 5x8 hour shifts
• Days: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Rhode Island state license (applications with pending license considered)
• Level I trauma experience required
• Familiarity with Philips Carestream, GE x-ray equipment, Portables, and C-Arms strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Work efficiently within a Level I trauma environment, adapting to fast-changing priorities
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of radiology equipment including Philips Carestream, GE, portable units, and C-Arms
• Uphold strict adherence to all regulatory standards, infection control protocols, and documentation requirements
• Provide compassionate communication and education to patients and their families regarding imaging procedures
