X-Ray Technician | Plainfield, New Jersey

This position offers multiple shift openings—day, evening, and night—with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Day, evening, and night shifts available
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Radiologic Technologist, with active ARRT certification
• Proven proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures
• Hands-on experience operating Siemens and Philips X-ray equipment
• Comfortable navigating and documenting in EPIC or similar electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Commitment to professional standards, safety, and patient-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations according to prescribed protocols, ensuring clear imaging for diagnostic use
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety throughout procedures
• Operate and maintain Siemens and Philips radiology equipment to optimal performance standards
• Accurately document all procedures and patient interactions in EPIC EMR
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues and physicians to communicate findings and support clinical decision-making
• Assist with departmental workflow and maintain an organized, efficient imaging environment
