X-Ray Technician in Pontiac, MI

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Nights: 10:30pm – 7:00am

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required
• Valid Michigan Radiologic Technologist license
• Active BLS certification
• Prior experience operating X-ray equipment in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and provide quality care throughout imaging procedures
• Accurately position patients and operate radiologic equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams for optimal imaging results
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all procedures performed
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and privacy standards
• Assist in training new staff or students as assigned
