An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging – X-ray Technologist to provide radiologic services and support patient care. This contract position requires a professional who is comfortable working in the operating room, delivering high-quality diagnostic images in collaboration with surgical teams. Flexibility in scheduling may be possible; candidates anticipating a standard 5x8s day shift are encouraged, but other scheduling preferences will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in imaging procedures, specifically X-ray technology
• Experience operating within the operating room environment is required
• Current State of New York radiologic technologist license, or willingness to obtain (can be secured within a few weeks)
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Strong communication skills and teamwork in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent patient positioning and image quality skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging for patients, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and physicians during intraoperative X-ray procedures
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment according to regulatory and hospital standards
• Document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with privacy laws
• Assist with positioning, monitoring, and reassuring patients throughout procedures
• Respond promptly to urgent requests and adapt to a dynamic clinical setting
