X-Ray Technician - Powell, Tennessee

Schedule:

• Alternating weekly shifts: one week of three 12-hour shifts, the following week of four 10-hour shifts
• Includes every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience as an X-ray Technologist
• Valid certification with ARRT(R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficient in performing general X-ray procedures and knowledgeable in standard imaging protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety at every step
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering strictly to safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately input and manage patient data in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver prompt, reliable diagnostic results
• Provide clear pre- and post-examination instructions to patients, responding to questions and concerns with empathy
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain certifications and keep current with industry best practices
