X-Ray Technician | Prospect, Kentucky

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday
• Occasional 12-hour weekend shifts as part of a rotation
• Flexibility required for occasional on-call shifts with a 1-hour response time
• Up to 7 days of requested time off can be approved

Qualifications:

• Registered with ARRT and hold a valid state license
• BLS certified
• At least 1 year of professional experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• C-arm experience and proficiency with portable X-ray units required
• Willingness to learn O-arm technology
• Vistelar training required upon hire
• Open to experienced professionals and first-time travelers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct X-ray exams in rapidly paced ER, main floor, outpatient suite, and with portable equipment
• Care for a patient mix including transplants, cardiac, trauma, intensive care, athletes, and routine outpatient cases
• Float as needed throughout hospital areas including the OR
• Operate Shimadzu, GE Portables, Carestream ER, OEC c-arms, O-arms
• Use Cerner EMR and McKesson (Change Healthcare) PACS to manage records and images
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and other radiologic technologists for support
• Comply with all departmental safety and infection control protocols

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
