This position offers a 13-week contract, utilizing your expertise as a Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic X-ray services to patients and collaborate closely with a skilled clinical team.
Schedule:
- 5 x 8-hour evening shifts
- 3:30 pm – 12:00 am, Wednesday through Sunday
- No call required
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT(R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- State of Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist license (pending license applications welcome)
- Prior experience operating Philips, Carestream, or GE X-ray equipment, including portables and C-Arms, is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Commitment to patient safety, high image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by healthcare providers with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Operate a combination of Philips, Carestream, and GE X-ray equipment, including portable units and C-Arms, for a variety of clinical applications
- Ensure accurate setup, positioning, and image acquisition while maintaining a safe environment for patients and colleagues
- Document imaging procedures and maintain detailed patient records in accordance with department protocols
- Assist physicians and care teams by providing timely and precise imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment
