X-Ray Technician in Providence, RI

Step into a dynamic radiology setting focused on high-quality patient care. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, supporting a Level I trauma center with a team dedicated to excellence in diagnostic imaging.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts
• Days: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification is mandatory
• Active Rhode Island state license preferred (candidates pending license will be considered)
• Previous experience in a Level I trauma environment required
• Proficiency with a variety of X-ray equipment, including Philips, Carestream, GE, Portables, and C-Arms

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures in a fast-paced trauma setting
• Accurately position patients and operate equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
• Adhere to established protocols for patient safety and infection control
• Maintain diligent documentation and ensure imaging records are complete and accurate
• Support department workflow and adapt to urgent, emergent imaging needs as required
