X-Ray Technician - Rochester, MI

Seeking an experienced X-ray Technologist for a 13-week contract role providing vital diagnostic imaging services in a collaborative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting X-ray exams and ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining accuracy in documentation and safety standards.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week
• 8-hour night shifts
• Hours: 10:30pm – 7:00am

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Current Michigan State Radiologic Technologist License
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience in imaging, particularly X-ray procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging in accordance with physician instructions and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients, providing comfort and information throughout the procedure
• Accurately document patient data and maintain clear, organized records
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety and infection control practices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report concerns promptly
