Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current state license to perform radiologic procedures
- Proficiency in operating X-ray imaging equipment and digital PACS systems
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Prior experience as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce diagnostic X-ray images following physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately position patients to ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and update patient records in accordance with facility standards
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and the wider healthcare team for seamless patient care
- Perform regular checks on equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with routine quality control procedures
- Educate patients on the imaging process and address any questions or concerns
