Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • Current state license to perform radiologic procedures
  • Proficiency in operating X-ray imaging equipment and digital PACS systems
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Prior experience as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce diagnostic X-ray images following physician orders and established protocols
  • Accurately position patients to ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and update patient records in accordance with facility standards
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and the wider healthcare team for seamless patient care
  • Perform regular checks on equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with routine quality control procedures
  • Educate patients on the imaging process and address any questions or concerns
