X-Ray Technician - Seymour, Tennessee

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment
• Alternating weeks: 3 shifts of 12 hours one week, 4 shifts of 10 hours the next
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of recent experience as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT(R) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of radiology protocols, safety practices, and quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Adhere to all safety protocols to protect patients, coworkers, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Accurately maintain patient records and proper documentation within the electronic medical record systems
• Set up and operate imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and ensure quality control procedures are followed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely imaging services and assist in patient transport when needed
• Maintaining a calm, compassionate demeanor while working with patients of all ages and conditions
