X-Ray Technician - Shawnee, Kansas

This 13-week opportunity calls for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience performing X-ray procedures in a dynamic clinical setting. Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts, midday: 12:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating on-call: one night per week (10:30 pm – 6:30 am, Tuesday)
• Weekend rotation: every 6–7 weeks, Friday 10:30 pm – Monday 6:30 am; starting June 1, every 3rd weekend 8:00 am – 6:30 pm Saturday & Sunday

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography
• Valid Kansas Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency operating X-ray equipment and performing high-quality diagnostic procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for scheduled X-ray examinations
• Accurately capture and process radiographic images as ordered by providers
• Maintain documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Assist with on-call and weekend shifts as scheduled
• Practice infection control, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance
