X-Ray Tech - Shepherdsville, KY

Schedule/Hours:

• Choose between three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekend schedule (12-hour shifts on weekends)
• Some on-call responsibilities, primarily overnight on weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends
• Holiday coverage may be required if scheduled; up to 7 days of requested time off can be approved

Key Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of imaging experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications
• Active and valid state license
• Experience with C-arm procedures and portable X-ray machines; O-arm experience preferred, but willingness to learn is essential
• First-time travelers are welcome

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging across various settings, including ER, inpatient, outpatient, and critical care units
• Manage a workload averaging 180 exams per day across multiple suites and portable units
• Adapt to different patient populations: transplant patients, cardiac, trauma (such as stroke and hand injuries), and athletes
• Utilize Cerner (EMR) and McKesson (PACS) systems, with equipment including Shimadzu, GE Portables, Carestream ER, OEC c-arms, and O-arms
• Float throughout the hospital as needed, including assisting in the OR
• Maintain detailed and precise imaging documentation
