X-Ray Technician in Shepherdsville, KY

Expand your radiologic technologist skills by supporting a diverse patient population in a dynamic imaging department, providing high-quality diagnostic services across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, OR, and trauma settings. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively within a robust care team, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts of 10 hours or 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
• Variable weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend if scheduled)
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call shifts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification required
• Active state license (KBMIRT) and BLS certification
• OR and O-arm experience preferred, but strong ER and trauma skills considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general, ortho, trauma, portable, and (when skilled) OR x-ray imaging across all patient types
• Float as needed within the hospital to ER, OR, and perform portable x-rays
• Utilize EMR (Cerner) and a variety of imaging equipment (Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE & Phillips c-arms, Medtronic o-arm)
• Collaborate closely with front desk staff, Lead Techs, phlebotomy, IV/VAT, RT, hospitalists, and intensivists to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with assigned schedules, holiday rotations, and adhere to department guidelines for requesting time off

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
