Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred)
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Proficient in operating x-ray equipment and performing various diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; flexibility regarding shift availability may be preferred based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct x-ray examinations following physician orders and established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and assist with patient documentation
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and equipment sterilization procedures
  • Review images for quality and clarity before administering to interpreting providers
  • Respond efficiently and compassionately to patient inquiries and needs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging practices and advancements in radiologic technology
