X-Ray Technician - Southfield, Michigan

Deliver critical imaging services within a dynamic healthcare environment as an X-ray Technologist on a 13-week contract assignment. This essential position supports emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care at a Level 2 Trauma Center, collaborating with a skilled clinical team while utilizing advanced GE and Phillips imaging platforms.

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend rotation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience as an X-ray Technologist in a hospital environment (Trauma Level 2 preferred)
• Proficiency operating GE and Phillips X-ray equipment
• Ability to adapt to ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures for emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient departments
• Operate GE and Phillips X-ray equipment in accordance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines
• Deliver high-quality imaging to support rapid clinical decision-making in a trauma setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain detailed patient records, documentation, and all regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety requirements
