Step into a vital imaging role and provide essential diagnostic services within a hospital environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals skilled in X-ray imaging and radiologic technology. The assignment spans 13 weeks and covers a diverse patient population, including outpatients, inpatients, and those in the Emergency Department.
Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating schedule may include these shifts: 10:30a–7p, 1p–9:30p, 2p–10:30p, 3p–11p, 5:30p–1a, 11p–7a
- Every other weekend: 8:30a–5p
- Holiday coverage possible
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid ARRT certification
- BLS credential required
- Active Ohio (OH) radiologic technologist license
- Experience in diagnostic X-ray procedures in a hospital setting preferred
- Ability to perform portable imaging and assist with fluoroscopy and surgery/OR cases
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic X-rays for a range of patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Assist with portable imaging as needed in various hospital departments
- Support fluoroscopy procedures and operate imaging equipment in surgical/OR environments
- Deliver care with attention to patient safety, comfort, and privacy
- Accurately document procedures and maintain compliance with regulations and facility protocols
- Participate in scheduled rotations, holidays, and weekend assignments to ensure uninterrupted imaging coverage
- Attend orientation to acclimate to facility policies and workflow
