X-Ray Technician - Strongsville, OH

This contract opportunity offers a chance to utilize your radiologic technology skills across a diverse patient population. You’ll perform crucial X-ray examinations for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department cases, ensuring high-quality imaging in both routine and emergent situations. The position includes hands-on work with portable equipment, fluoroscopy, and surgery/OR imaging.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts, including:
  • 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 5:30 PM – 1:00 AM
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Holiday coverage may be required

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Active Ohio Radiology License
• Experience operating X-ray equipment including portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and surgery/OR cases
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-rays per physician orders for all patient types
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently in various clinical settings
• Provide high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation
• Participate in orientation and adapt quickly to new protocols
