X-Ray Technician in Sunbury, PA

Advance your career as an experienced radiologic technologist specializing in X-ray imaging. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and is an excellent fit for dedicated professionals with a strong background in various imaging settings. Applicants should be comfortable working with complex equipment and supporting a wide spectrum of clinical cases.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour evening shifts
• Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• No on-call or weekend coverage required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification is essential
• Valid BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in radiologic technology
• Proven expertise operating GE OEC C-arms and GE/Shimadzu portable units
• Thorough experience supporting orthopedic, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain clinic procedures in an outpatient environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging for diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout
• Operate both stationary and portable imaging equipment with proficiency and care
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to support specialized cases in orthopedics, spine, gastroenterology, urology, and pain management
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using EPIC
• Demonstrate attention to safety protocols, infection control, and equipment maintenance
• Adapt to the needs of a busy outpatient center, prioritizing efficiency and patient-centered service
