X-Ray Technician in Sunbury, PA

Step into a dynamic healthcare environment as a skilled X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist, leveraging your expertise in a busy outpatient setting. This contract role spans 13 weeks and offers the opportunity to apply advanced imaging skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (8:00am–4:30pm)
• Specific days to be finalized during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification is required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in radiologic technology
• Demonstrated proficiency with GE OEC c-arms
• Background working across a variety of cases, including orthopedics, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain clinic procedures in an outpatient setting
• Experience operating portable GE and Shimadzu imaging equipment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams for patients in orthopedic, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain clinic specialty areas
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including c-arms and portable X-ray units with adherence to safety protocols
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate imaging and ensure a patient-centered approach
• Monitor imaging quality and assist with troubleshooting equipment as needed
• Maintain strict compliance with radiation safety guidelines and patient privacy regulations
