X-Ray Technician - Suttons Bay, Michigan

Excel as an X-ray Technologist, bringing expertise in imaging and patient care to a leading healthcare environment. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule for 13 weeks, allowing you to leverage your clinical skills and ARRT credentials.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday & Tuesday, 11:00 pm – 9:00 am; Saturday, 8:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Week 2: Monday & Tuesday, 11:00 pm – 6:00 am; Sunday, 11:00 pm – 9:00 am

Required Qualifications:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures and the use of radiologic equipment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Ensure optimal image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing radiologic technologist practice
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
