Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging by utilizing your expertise as an X-ray Technologist. In this contract opportunity, you will support patient care by performing effective radiographic exams and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital and conventional X-ray equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns
- Capture high-quality images per physician orders and protocols
- Ensure proper documentation and labeling of images and patient records
- Maintain equipment by performing regular safety checks and minor troubleshooting
- Follow infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Support patient comfort and privacy throughout the imaging process
Desired Qualifications:
- Active registration as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- State license in radiologic technology, as required
- Previous experience with hospital or clinic imaging systems strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of radiology safety requirements and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Detail-oriented approach and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Current BLS certification
