Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent recognized credential)
- Active and unrestricted state licensure to practice as an X-ray Tech / Radiologic Technologist
- Experience operating digital radiography and X-ray equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
- Thorough knowledge of imaging safety protocols and patient care standards
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with medical staff and patients
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure correct patient positioning, secure patient comfort, and comply with safety regulations
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain detailed patient records according to facility protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images when needed and provide quality patient care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and confidentiality guidelines
- Provide instruction, care, and reassurance to patients before and during the imaging process
