X-Ray Technician - Wappingers Falls, NY

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Valid New York State radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain licensure within a few weeks)
• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic imaging, including X-ray procedures
• Prior experience supporting physicians and surgical teams in the operating room
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred

Potential Schedule Details:

• Anticipated schedule: 5x8s day shift (flexibility to discuss alternate shifts if needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
• Operate imaging equipment safely within the OR and other clinical settings
• Prepare examination rooms and verify proper equipment operation
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures to patients and families
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality imaging
• Adhere to infection control, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
