Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Valid New York State radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain licensure within a few weeks)
- Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic imaging, including X-ray procedures
- Prior experience supporting physicians and surgical teams in the operating room
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
Potential Schedule Details:
- Anticipated schedule: 5x8s day shift (flexibility to discuss alternate shifts if needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
- Operate imaging equipment safely within the OR and other clinical settings
- Prepare examination rooms and verify proper equipment operation
- Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality imaging
- Adhere to infection control, privacy, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
