This opportunity involves performing X-ray procedures across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings within a Level 2 Trauma facility. You'll contribute to a high-performing clinical team and make a difference for a wide variety of patients.
Schedule:
- 4 ten-hour shifts (21:00 - 07:00)
or - 3 twelve-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
- Every third weekend rotation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations with precision in trauma, emergency, and routine care settings.
- Operate GE and Phillips imaging systems, ensuring high-quality images are produced for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow techs to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
- Support patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Adhere strictly to hospital protocols and regulatory standards for radiologic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R) certification is required.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- At least one year of recent experience as an X-ray Technologist in a hospital—Trauma Level 2 experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with GE and Phillips X-ray equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in urgent and routine clinical situations.
