X-Ray Technician - Warren, Michigan

A dynamic healthcare facility is seeking an experienced technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in supporting physicians by producing accurate X-ray images to guide patient care.

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
• Specific days of the week will be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Active certification with ARRT (R)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid X-ray Technologist license in Michigan
• At least two years of recent experience in an acute care or hospital setting performing radiologic examinations

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray equipment to obtain clear, accurate diagnostic images for patients across various units and care settings
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and patient safety at all times
• Collaborate effectively with the medical team to ensure timely delivery of results and seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow proper documentation procedures
• Rigorously adhere to safety standards, infection control practices, and departmental protocols
• Perform and support quality assurance activities to maintain optimal operation of imaging equipment
