X-Ray Technician in Warwick, RI

Embark on an exciting opportunity as a skilled imaging professional specializing in X-ray technology. This contract position spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to work evenings utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• Evening shifts, 3:30pm–12:00am
• Five 8-hour shifts, Wednesday through Sunday
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Rhode Island state license (applications considered if license is pending)
• Previous experience with a variety of X-ray imaging equipment, especially Philips, Carestream, GE, as well as portables and C-Arms
• Strong knowledge of radiological safety standards and patient care protocols
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered, ensuring quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate a range of imaging equipment, including Philips Carestream, GE, portable X-ray units, and C-Arms
• Accurately capture and assess high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
• Maintain and document records of procedures following regulatory and facility policies
• Practice radiation safety measures for both patients and staff
• Uphold exceptional standards of patient care, consistently demonstrating professionalism and compassion
