Radiology Technologist - Wayne, New Jersey

Deliver crucial diagnostic services and support patient care as an imaging expert in this specialized opportunity, working nights in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role lets you apply your technical skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality X-ray images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Schedule:

• Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm – 7:30 am

Qualifications:

• Current, valid NJ Radiology License required
• ARRT(R) certification in good standing
• Active BLS certification
• Previous experience operating X-ray equipment and performing radiologic procedures
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Perform digital X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort throughout their experience
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety practices, protecting patients, self, and others
• Maintain accurate records of exams, patient data, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to ensure high-quality imaging results
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
