X-Ray Technician - Weirton, WV

Step into a dynamic radiology environment, where your expertise in imaging and X-ray technology makes a true impact. As a Radiologic Technologist in this contract role, you'll work alongside a dedicated team and take responsibility for a range of diagnostic studies within a progressive and well-equipped department.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts, mix of steady afternoon and midnight schedules
• Every other weekend on midnight shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform general X-ray studies, including OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI), and fluoro procedures (ortho & GI)
• Support multiple imaging settings (general department, fluoroscopy, and OR)
• Operate equipment from premium brands (Del Medical, Siemens, Philips, GE)
• Manage daily caseload averaging 110 studies, sometimes serving as the sole overnight technologist
• Document patient data and procedures efficiently using Community Works (EMR) and Intellirad/Intelliconnect (PACS)
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and professional dress policies, with freedom to choose scrub color
• Collaborate with Radiology leadership and a dependable team, with resources and support available via phone

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification and WV X-ray License required
• Current BLS certification
• WV CARES clearance prior to starting
• Ability to function independently across General X-ray, Portable, OR, and Fluoro environments
• Must submit an unexpired driver’s license and disclose any license actions at time of application
• Open to first-time travelers confident in clinical capability
