X-Ray Technician in Wellsburg, WV

Bring your expertise as an Imaging Professional to a dynamic radiology department with a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. This contract opportunity offers a varied caseload and the chance to work alongside a supportive team across multiple modalities.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Consistent afternoon and midnight coverage
• Every other weekend, midnight shift required

Key Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Valid WV X-ray License
• ARRT certification
• WV CARES clearance prior to start
• Unexpired driver’s license (submission required)
• Ability to function across all areas: General X-ray, portables, OR, and Fluoro
• Accepting first-time travelers eager to learn and grow

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of general X-ray studies, including OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI) and Fluoro studies (ortho & GI)
• Float between department areas: general, fluoro, and OR, as needed
• Operate and maintain equipment such as C-arms (OEC), GE portables, and diagnostic rooms with Del Medical, Siemens, and Philips systems
• Use EMR (Community Works) and PACS (Intellirad/Intelliconnect) for documentation and imaging review
• Independently manage caseload during overnight shifts, with the support of an available Imaging Director and Lead Tech on most afternoon shifts
• Adhere to department protocols and maintain a professional appearance (any color scrubs allowed; optional matching to staff’s emerald green)
