Embark on a dynamic role providing essential imaging services with a focus on X-ray technology. This contract opportunity is tailored for professionals experienced in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and offers the chance to support critical patient care in both trauma and surgical settings.
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Includes holiday rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with expertise in X-ray imaging
- Demonstrated experience in an operating room setting
- Prior work in a Level 1 Trauma Center is essential
- Comfortable adapting quickly to new team dynamics and protocols
- Current state licensure and BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays for both trauma and surgical patients
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure accurate imaging support during procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety regulations and facility policies
- Support patient care by preparing individuals for imaging, explaining procedures, and safeguarding their comfort
- Accurately document and manage images and patient records within digital systems
- Respond skillfully to urgent imaging needs and remain calm under pressure
