Deliver critical diagnostic services as an experienced X-ray Technologist, utilizing your expertise in imaging to provide comprehensive care and support. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled radiologic professional committed to producing high-quality diagnostic images, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in general X-ray procedures, with strong knowledge of imaging protocols and best practices
- Experience operating and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring calibration and compliance with safety standards
- Current state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current and in good standing
- Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work both independently and as part of a team
Schedule/Hours:
- Specific shift and schedule details will be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety procedures
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including electronic health records (EHRs)
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to support accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Monitor and manage equipment performance, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all infection control and radiology department policies
