X-Ray Technician - Ypsilanti, MI

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced X-ray Technologist seeking a contract position. This role involves working in a busy imaging department and delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support outstanding patient care over a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:30am
• Specific days to be confirmed during the interview process

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))
• Active Michigan Radiologic Technologist license
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of two years’ experience performing X-ray procedures in a clinical setting
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital X-ray equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations to ensure accurate image capture
• Evaluate images for quality, clarity, and diagnostic value, following up with additional images if necessary
• Maintain accurate records of patient data, imaging procedures, and required documentation
• Support physicians and other clinical staff in obtaining necessary imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment
• Adhere strictly to all infection control, HIPAA, and safety guidelines within the department
