Responsibilities:
- Perform microscopic evaluations of gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens to identify abnormal or malignant cells.
- Accurately prepare, stain, and screen specimens following laboratory protocols.
- Record comprehensive findings and maintain precise documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other laboratory professionals and pathologists to verify diagnoses and facilitate timely patient results.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with developments in cytology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a laboratory science or related field.
- Completion of an accredited cytotechnology program.
- Certification as a Cytologist (ASCP or equivalent).
- Previous experience in laboratory cytology strongly preferred.
- Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and digital record systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality control, laboratory safety, and HIPAA regulations.

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
