Histology Technician in Antioch, TN

We are seeking skilled professionals with histology and laboratory experience to join a growing team, with multiple openings available across all shifts—especially 2nd and 3rd shift. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time positions available on all shifts; 2nd and 3rd shifts in highest demand (shift hours may vary)
• Shift Differential: 2nd shift +$3/hour; 3rd shift +$3.50/hour (must work at least 4 hours in applicable shift to qualify)

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily workload, including embedding, cutting, staining, and specialized histo-/immunocytochemical procedures as requested by pathologists
• Process specimens for molecular testing and manage stat requests with efficiency
• Perform and document all instrument maintenance, maintaining strict quality control records
• Provide training, direction, and support to Histotechnologists and Histotechnicians
• Grossly identify tissue adequacy in the operating room, communicate with physicians, divide samples, and ensure proper fixation
• Additional relevant duties to support continuous laboratory operation and patient diagnoses

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Histotechnician (ASCP) or Histotechnologist (ASCP) required
• Minimum one (1) year relevant laboratory/histology experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Proven ability to work with precision and efficiency in a high-volume lab environment
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills
