Travel Histology Technician | Charleston, South Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 40 hours per week; 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microtomy, embedding, and special stains as primary duties
• Participate in the preparation and processing of specimens
• Assist with IHC procedures (experience a plus)
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure optimal workflow and specimen integrity
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and clean laboratory environment

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in histology techniques, including microtomy and embedding
• Experience with special stains required; IHC experience highly valued
• Ability to work efficiently during early shifts
• Certification or registry eligibility as a Histology Technician preferred
• Must reside 50+ miles from the Charleston area
