Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 4:00am–12:30pm
• No on-call expectation, ensuring you can enjoy Charleston’s many attractions during your free afternoons

Qualifications:

• ASCP (HT) certification is required
• Minimum 50+ miles from Charleston (no local applicants)
• Proficiency in microtomy, embedding, and special stains
• IHC (Immunohistochemistry) experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex histology procedures, including microtomy, special staining, and embedding
• Prepare and maintain quality tissue specimens for accurate diagnosis
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure best practices and workflow efficiency
• Uphold stringent laboratory standards in safety, documentation, and quality assurance
