Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts: Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex histological procedures including microtomy, embedding, and special stains.
• Ensure quality control for all laboratory specimens and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with the pathology team to prepare, process, and manage histological samples.
• Utilize immunohistochemistry (IHC) techniques; IHC experience is highly valued.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous hands-on experience in histology laboratory settings.
• Proficiency with microtomy, embedding, and special staining.
• IHC (immunohistochemistry) proficiency highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be located 50+ miles from Mount Pleasant, SC.
