Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment requires working overnights, structured as 12-hour night shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of histology laboratory experience required
• Certified as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by recognized boards such as ASCP preferred
• Proficient in microtomy, tissue processing, embedding, staining, and immunohistochemistry techniques
• Strong attention to detail with keen organizational skills
• Must be able to provide documentation of no recent employment within a 50-mile radius

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform all aspects of histology specimen preparation, including cutting, staining, and mounting tissue samples
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure quality and safety standards
• Assist pathologists with case preparation and slide review
