Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 5 years of relevant laboratory and supervisory experience
• Current Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor license
• Advanced knowledge in histology and laboratory science practices
• Demonstrated success in people management and operational planning
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate all operations and programs within the laboratory
• Maintain fiscal accountability and oversee budgeting, payroll, and staffing
• Establish work goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategies
• Coach, mentor, and perform evaluations for technical and support staff
• Ensure compliance with quality management and regulatory standards
• Guide the development and implementation of innovative procedures to improve laboratory processes and outcomes
• Foster a positive work climate, motivate staff, and develop future leaders
• Conduct regular performance appraisals and manage FlexPTO utilization
