Required Skills & Experience:

• Competency in Laboratory operations – focus on Histology
• Histology Technician certification (HT or HTL, ASCP preferred)
• At least 1 year of recent, relevant histology laboratory experience
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and regulatory standards
• Flexibility and adaptability to new environments
• Must reside at least 50 miles from North Charleston, SC

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
• Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and cover slipping with precision
• Maintain laboratory equipment in optimal condition
• Uphold rigorous quality control and assurance protocols
