Travel Histology Technician | North Charleston, South Carolina

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• 10-week contract

As a Histology Technician, your days will offer variety and challenge, with a primary focus on microtomy, embedding, and performing special stains. IHC experience is welcomed and will allow you to further broaden your skillset. You’ll gain valuable exposure to different laboratory processes and learn from leaders with a range of backgrounds and management styles—all while living and working in an exciting new location.

Qualifications:

• ASCP certification (HT) required
• At least 50 miles from North Charleston, SC (no locals)
• Experience in microtomy, special stains, and embedding
• IHC experience is a plus
• Previous travel or contract experience beneficial but not required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tissue specimens following high-quality laboratory standards
• Conduct microtomy, embedding, and special staining
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to provide timely and accurate results

$1,806 - $1,904/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
