Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• 10-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microtomy, embedding, and special stains according to lab protocols
• Assist with Immunohistochemistry (IHC); experience a plus
• Maintain quality control for all specimens
• Ensure safety and adherence to laboratory guidelines
• Collaborate with the laboratory team for efficient workflow
• Document and track procedures, reporting results accurately

Qualifications:

• Current ASCP (HT) certification required
• At least one year of recent experience in Histology (Histology Tech)
• Proficient in microtomy, special stains, and embedding
• Immunohistochemistry experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside over 50 miles from Summerville, SC (no local candidates)
