Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent
• Previous clinical laboratory experience strongly preferred
• Extensive understanding of laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of chemical, hematological, immunologic, and microbiological tests following regulatory and facility standards
• Prepare samples, operate lab instruments, and maintain accurate records of testing results
• Communicate findings promptly and collaboratively with clinical staff
• Adhere strictly to all lab safety and quality control procedures
• Participate in routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to assure accuracy
• Assist with training and mentoring of new or less experienced laboratory staff as needed
