Laboratory Technician - Overland Park, Kansas

Schedule:

• 13-week engagement
• Night shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Current ASCP certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience as a Medical Lab Technician
• Proficient with laboratory testing equipment and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to maintaining quality standards and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests, analyses, and reporting in accordance with regulatory standards
• Receive, prepare, and process samples with accuracy and consistency
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
• Ensure all quality control procedures are followed
• Accurately enter results and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to a safe and compliant work environment through diligent practices
