Schedule Information:
- Shift: Nights
- Shift rotation: 7 days on/7 days off, followed by 4 shifts of 10 hours (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM), then 3 shifts of 12 hours (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
- 36-hour weekly work guarantee
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No on-call obligations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active certification or registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Experience in general laboratory disciplines such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail, with precise specimen handling and testing abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Current compliance with all required licensure and immunization standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze a wide range of laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare specimens, operate automated analyzers, and validate results to support patient care
- Maintain quality control procedures and documentation in line with regulatory standards
- Communicate critical and abnormal results to healthcare providers promptly
- Participate in laboratory safety, infection control, and process improvement initiatives
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful workplace culture
