Advance your clinical laboratory career by bringing your skills as a Medical Laboratory Technician to a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced laboratory professionals, contributing to the diagnosis and care of patients with accuracy and dedication.

Schedule Information:

  • Shift: Nights
  • Shift rotation: 7 days on/7 days off, followed by 4 shifts of 10 hours (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM), then 3 shifts of 12 hours (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
  • 36-hour weekly work guarantee
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • No on-call obligations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active certification or registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Experience in general laboratory disciplines such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
  • Proficiency in laboratory information systems, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail, with precise specimen handling and testing abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork in a fast-paced setting
  • Current compliance with all required licensure and immunization standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and analyze a wide range of laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare specimens, operate automated analyzers, and validate results to support patient care
  • Maintain quality control procedures and documentation in line with regulatory standards
  • Communicate critical and abnormal results to healthcare providers promptly
  • Participate in laboratory safety, infection control, and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful workplace culture
